Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ReadyPixl, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

ReadyPixl provides bulk image editing tools — a browser-based editor, a browser extension, and a desktop application — including background removal, resizing, color adjustment, and other image processing features. Optional AI tools (for example AI background removal and AI upscaling) run through third-party providers and consume separately purchased credits. Nothing on ReadyPixl is a subscription: purchases are one-time payments and nothing auto-renews.

3. Accounts

Some features require a ReadyPixl account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms; you may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any images you upload. You agree not to use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your original images. ReadyPixl does not claim ownership over any images you process using our service.

6. ReadyPixl Pro (web app and browser extension)

One-time purchase. ReadyPixl Pro is a one-time payment (regular price $49; launch pricing may apply). It is not a subscription: there is no recurring charge and nothing auto-renews.

What Pro includes. Pro unlocks, on your account: unlimited web app image downloads, unlimited browser extension image downloads, and priority support, together with improvements, fixes, and standard-toolset updates to those features. "Lifetime access" means for as long as ReadyPixl operates the web service.

What Pro does not include. AI tools remain pay-per-use via credits. New standalone applications and new premium plugins or premium feature packs are separate products, are not part of Pro, and may be offered for a separate one-time fee.

Refunds and withdrawal. Pro is delivered immediately on purchase. All sales are final except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, by purchasing you expressly request immediate delivery of this digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once access is granted.

7. Credits (pay-per-use AI tools)

Credits are consumable, one-time top-ups used by AI tools that call third-party providers. Credits are not a subscription, never auto-top-up, do not expire while the service operates, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable once purchased except where required by applicable law. The EU/UK immediate-delivery withdrawal acknowledgment in Section 6 applies to credit purchases as well.

8. ReadyPixl Desktop application

ReadyPixl Desktop is a downloadable application available as a one-time purchase (regular price $89; launch pricing is applied automatically at checkout when active) or a free 7-day trial. Use of the desktop application is governed by the End User License Agreement included with the installer in addition to these Terms.

Trial. The free trial does not require a payment method. Trial entitlement is tracked per ReadyPixl account.

Paid license and updates. A paid license grants a perpetual right to use the version you received and any updates released within the twelve (12) months following purchase. Covered updates are improvements, bug fixes, standard plugins, security, and quality-of-life releases for the application. New standalone applications and new premium plugins are separate products, are not included in the update window, and may be offered for a separate fee. After the window, the version you have keeps working indefinitely; security patches still install. New paid versions released after that window may require a separate payment.

No refunds. All sales are final because the 7-day no-credit-card trial provides full evaluation, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Legacy Python app. The earlier ReadyPixl Python application (v0.3.27) remains available for download but is no longer supported. New purchases cover the new ReadyPixl Desktop app only.

9. Advertising

The free tier of the web app and browser extension may display advertising. Ad placement and formats may change over time. Any advertising is subject to the consent choices described in our Cookie Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot be waived under your local consumer law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReadyPixl will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to ReadyPixl in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or US $50.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced on this page with an updated date. Changes do not retroactively reduce entitlements you have already purchased (for example, an existing Pro purchase keeps the scope described at the time of purchase).
